We're certainly glad you read knoxnews! We do hope you find some news you haven't already heard about, but if the "reactions" are the best thing about it, enjoy! There seems to be no lack of conversation.

We take the paper on the weekends, just for the Sunday paper. All of my news comes online. You are correct with your questions about what will happen when Generation E (as in Ensure) is gone. But some of them haven't yet realized that this is going to be a problem, and that's sad. I guess the dinosaurs didn't see it coming either.

They'll need to change their models finally when there are only a few left standing, but so long as there are coupons to be clipped, and people need reading material in places that are not tech friendly (subways, errr restrooms, etc), there will be hardcopy. TV was supposed to be the death of the newspaper as well. Difference now is that these papers seem too stubborn to change and are clinging to dead business plans. But sooner or later one of them will catch on and do it right, the remaining few will follow suit.
