		<description>My own (not quite) similar story goes, I was an altar boy at our church.  While serving mass one day, my bike was stolen from the back of the church (yes it was locked, they broke the lock and left it).

So, I can say with some authority, you are quite right, that trust will never return.

It is just downright pathetic that there are people like this.</description>
