The elder children (Doug included) need to step up. Next time they want to go somewhere or are sick, make them do their chores anyway. I'm mean like that. If you stay home from school and you can lay and watch tv all day, get up and straighten your room. Fold your clothes. It doesn't take that much effort. We moms do it all the time when we're' sick!!
