Giddyup for STAR

Every night, I read my 11-yr-old son a devotion.

He has a book that has a different devotion for each day, with a Bible verse, a story and a couple questions and sample prayer.  He always has good insights and questions about the discussion, although he hasn’t gone through a number of the situations the characters in the stories are going through.

Sometimes it’s more about building up shields against the bad stuff, than dealing with the things that have already happened or are currently happening.

It’s a nice finish to the day.
