How we close ourselves to the world

With the windows closed, we lose the crickets, the rain, the sound of the breeze in the trees, and whatever just ran through my backyard scaring the bejeebees out of me! You know..I can’t possibly have many more bejeebees left. Maybe they come back after the fright. Has anyone ever heard of getting your bejeebees back?
