birthday blab

Have I mentioned that over the course of about a month, 4 of my children have birthdays?  Yes?  Well, I’ll say it a dozen more times before the birthday season has passed.  Did I mention that there are several other family birthdays during that same 30 day period?  Yes?  Well, I’ll just keep freaking out […]

Evan – walking, clinging, checkup and shots today and did I mention the clinging Amy – will be in the Dogwood Parade tomorrow (Oops, I forgot to tell Doug about this) Noah – getting his yellow belt tonight, will be in the Dogwood Parade tomorrow Sarah – running for student council, annoyed I cancelled tomorrow’s […]

good product, bad name

bottle rockets are for the birds

We have a neighbor who plays with firecrackers and bottle rockets all the time.  He doesn’t need a holiday and it doesn’t matter what time of day it is.  Last month, Doug’s curiosity got the better of him and he walked down to ask the reason for the celebration.  I had a friend at UT-Martin […]

faking it?

When Amy claims that her “tummy hurts,” it could mean that she is tired, hungry, overstimulated, scared or actually has an upset tummy.  When Noah claims that his “head hurts,” it could mean that he is tired, overstimulated, anxious, about to have a nosebleed or having a migraine.  Tommy complains constantly.  I understand that his […]
