He is probably just placing the cold stuff together so it doesn’t melt…
or putting the bread with other stuff so it won’t get squashed…
I was classifying them by height, color and relative temperature then subcategorizing by price from highest to lowest. And making the UPCs all point toward the cashier of course.
But primarily I was, as Michael deduced, putting all the cold stuff together. On the ocd side I did try to put like items together since it makes the work a bit easier on the cashier.
I’m sure he just grouped them so they were bagged in a way that made them unload logically at home… 😉
