I found a good way to keep ants out of the house.
I do not think you would get the same insect spray there as what we use. (It is called crawly cruncher)
It is a long term (about 3 months) spray which i wipe/spray around the areas that the ants enter through.
I even had to do this on the baby cot at one stage because they were so bad. I never had anymore ants on the cot after that.
