More thoughts on Lost – If I was stranded in the middle of nowhere, I think I would have removed the bodies and burned them on a pyre instead of burning the only thing resembling a shelter. I certainly would be doing more scavenging of resources. I wouldn’t be burning or breaking anything that might be useful. Mostly, after last night’s episode, I hope nobody on the island thinks about the ‘Stay-Puff marshmallow man’.
and they cut their water bottles to make them cups…I guess they don’t think they will need to store water in them.
But at the very least, they should have stripped it of everything.
I know! What happened to the zillions of cups on the airplane?
I think I would’ve done a better area search for the body before I destroyed the casket. Is he going to burn his father’s body with the plane’s tail (and all the other ‘stuff’ in it that they could use)? Or is his father cured like the wheelchair man?
I think the burning of the section is somehow symbolic to these people…
No … the dad’s decaying body is probably contamintaing their spring of drinking water … ugh!
And if I just randomly wandered arount the forest, I’m not sure I’d be able to find my way straight back to the beach without getting eaten by Clifford the Big Red Dog (my theory on what the big thing is).
Now there is a creepy thought – that his father is a walking dead guy.
They burned.
They don’t seem to have a survival instinct. They are just sitting around waiting to be rescued. Last night I was telling the doc “Hey, you just trashed a perfectly good wooden box. You might have needed that for something.”
well the inside of that bit of plane WAS pretty much covered with bits of rotting dead people – not exactly the kind of place you’d want to hang out for any length of time.
What I don’t understand is why no one has even tried walking around the island by just walking along the beaches. Hell there could be a friggin five star hotel on the other side and that lot would never know it.
