GMail is Google’s answer to Hotmail and Yahoo mail etc. It’s just another webbased email service. It started out invite only so at first it was hard to get an account and Gmail invitations sold on Ebay for a couple hundred dollars. Now they are a dime a dozen.
Ah! You beat me to this post. I checked gmail two days ago to find that I also have 50 invites available.
I’m thinking it’s time to create some Nigierian email accounts!
