I think we throw out the 11 year old that was told to put the marker away and didn’t.
The cleaning effort got out much of the marker but discolored the fabric and what remains of the marker is very evident.
Goof off did work quite well on removing the marker from solid surfaces.
recover the sofa, chair cushions, repaint the dressers, walls, etc…

The cheapest nastiest hairspray that you can find. Aquanet is my recommendation, soak the heck out of the spot, dab dab dab as much a you can, then scrape after respraying. Worked on a bright orange shirt I had with blue sharpie
