Everyone is going a little stir-crazy over here. I think we need to get out of the house today. Maybe we’ll search for ideas for Sarah’s birthday. The 12th birthday for girls is the “talk on the phone and roll your eyes at your parents” themed birthday isn’t it?
And of course, there are my jokes….
I think it’s hormonal for girls – they hit puberty and their eyes just start to roll every time they hear their parents voices. lol
Man, we celebrated that one early. I thought that was the 8th birthday! Damn. Always a day late and a dollar short.
Not the same Sarah that came and visited?!? She was super cool the whole time she was here. Oh, you guys have more than one Sarah now?
Sarah’s perfect. I bet she never rolls her eyes at her parents.
She swam the whole time she was there. We have to make sure homework is done, clothing is appropriate, meals are vaguely nutritious, etc.
We’ve become so used to seeing those eyes in the upturned position that if she ever looked straight at us we’d probably scold her.
