I guess I’m supposed to tell an inspiring military story for Veteran’s Day. I just don’t know any. My grandfather was a career Navy man. He left behind a few medals, his military weapons and the buttons from his uniforms. He also left behind some silver demitasse spoons. The ONLY story he ever told us about his military experience was the spoon story. An entire life and all I have is a spoon story, but I hope I someday have one story that is half as good as spoons.
