Knoxville is not a destination. Never has been, never will be. When I was in college, my friends and acquaitances all said, “oh you’re from Knoxville, I’ve driven through there!” all we are is the intersection of I-40 and I-75. We’d probably do better as a truck stop town than anything else!
Yes and that intersection of i-40 and i-75 briefly joins the two high speed sections of road connecting New York to Miami and the Atlantic to the Pacific. Do you have any idea how much drug trafficing probably goes on in these parts?
On that thought alone, every Knoxvillian should be for the legalization of drugs simply for the tax revenue!
