Next week Doug and Noah are going to Boy Scout camp for 4 days. I will miss them dearly (and be off my rocker when they return) but after seeing the ticks on Doug after last year’s camping trip I have NO desire to camp with them.

No but I get to drive Tommy to and from summer school, STAR, etc.
Tommy can attend the family camps. He would have to be a webelo scout to be able to attend this one (I think).
This is resident camp. It’s really training to get Noah prepared to move from the one night family camp to the 5 night summer camp.

Apparently the really tiny ones like warm places. I slept fully clothed but on top of my sleeping bag. Apparently these things went up my pants leg and logged somewhere that I really didn’t want to talk to the camp nurse about. I had 9!
Be sure to take along some fingernail polish. You don’t want to do the ole match trick there.
Good thing it didn’t require amputation…
