On Tuesday I almost posted about how much fun I was having spending the morning at the hospital with my mother having a bad reaction to the pain meds until the school called about a sick child. Then, I hysterically shrieked at a nurse about pain medications (“Stop using this and try something different. Now!”) while rushing out of the hospital to pick up a sick Noah. I settled Noah in and headed back to the hospital. I was too tired to write that post Tuesday night and even though Noah stayed home sick Wednesday and Thursday, I never thought about it again until this morning. This morning I’m thinking how much fun it would be to have my great-grandmother, who is in a nursing home on the other side of town with Alzheimers, decide that she is going to have a dementia-type fit and end up in the hospital for observation and evaluation. Yep. This is going to be a LOT more fun.
