Evan spent the morning wearing a Minnie Mouse dress and chasing the dog with a light saber. Amy came home from school bossy and crabby channeling Lucy Van Pelt. Doug spent the first half of the day out of the house (with our only car) and now he is frantically pounding on his keyboard in the cool, dark basement. Sarah leaves at 6 in the morning for the student council trip to DC. When we pick her up this afternoon after art club, she expects a shopping trip to Target. Noah has karate practice this afternoon and Tommy has church tonight. All of this is just a warm-up for tomorrow’s family juggling act. Tomorrow night at the exact same time, Tommy has to be at STAR, Doug has to be at Bearden High School’s re-zoning forum and I will be at WBIR for the taping of Inside Tennessee. You know what I’m most worried about? Putting my swollen, still bruised foot and toe in a real shoe so I don’t appear on television in the ugly surgical shoe. It’s easier to focus on the small stuff. My attention span must be near-sighted.
How’d you get to be on Inside Tennessee? Did I miss that post?
Cool 🙂
🙂 I whined about the rezoning. A lot.
