Our house is extremely quiet except for the sound of Doug mumbling to the computer we’ve stolen from our son and put on the kitchen table to run the camera and the music channel on the television. My evil glares aimed at Doug and the computers don’t make noise. The camera is coming, I promise. If you’re reading this a little later in the day, what technical problems? Everyone reading at 9 a.m. got to see me typing wearing only a towel. Two towels if you count the one on my head that is wrapped like a turban. Why don’t guys wrap their heads in towels when their hair is wet? Everybody go grab some coffee while I race downstairs to find clothes. Or a swimsuit. Did I mention that our a/c is broken? I did? Oh, well I’ll only mention it a few thousand more times.

Being a long haired type, I never, uh, learned how to do the turban thing. However, being a 6′ 4″ type, I don’t think I’d fit indoors wearing one.

AT - I don’t think a turban would dent your door frame. Besides, long hairs like Buddhism and guru’s wear turbans.
NotAMeanGirl - Did you know that I originally learned sign language because my singing voice is so horrible? For STAR, I will do it though. Let me know when you’re online tonight (hopefully after 9 p.m.) and we’ll leave something on the Internet that will REALLY embarrass my children.

[…] NotAMeanGirl requested (in comment) that Cathy and I do a duet. We chose Jim Stafford’s Spiders and Snakes because it is a fun song and the first song I ever taught Noah. He was about 3 years old. He was so cute shaking his finger and saying, "I don’t like spiders and snakes!" I am certain we could have done a little better job with Cathy singing louder and me missing fewer lyrics but I think this version showed best how much fun we were having. Enjoy! […]
