We keep a large marker board calendar beside the front door which lists all of our activities.  Every few weeks I update it with new appointments and activities.  Today I cleaned up and filled the calendar with the last 6 weeks of school activities.  The practices, performances and end-of-year programs have the calendar so full it actually makes me dizzy just looking at it.  When I think about the 4 birthdays in 30 days (that’s just MY children, it doesn’t include relatives and friends) that begin right after school ends, I feel sheer terror.
