Broken ornament count so far – 8
If Fisher Price or Little Tykes made non-destructible ornaments, they would be enormously popular in our house. Juggling balls are bouncy, but too heavy and Doug wouldn’t let me put a hook in them. Nothing edible would last. Maybe we should just decorate the tree with free aol disks.
Local Craft store. Wooden Ornaments. Let kids paint them (excellent cold weather or rainy day activity), and then decorate with them. One. They will be more careful because it is “their” ornament. Two. It is wood. Dropping them will not cause breakage.
