My mother’s workplace is infested with ‘bad weather coming’ horror stories and panic spreaders. I have gotten “have you heard the weather report” phone calls and e-mails all day. The Red Cross just sent out an emergency weather alert e-mail. The sun is still shining and it’s 76 degrees outside. Amy and Evan are playing together calmly and the dogs are asleep. I don’t know what everyone wants me to do unless it’s run buy milk, bread and bottled water.
Batteries! Don’t forget the batteries!
Our town panics at the idea of ice or snow. Now, we also panic at the idea of a hurricane.
We are nowhere near the coast. Whateva.
