When we were there last we were talking about calves. Your teen had no clue as to what a calf was. We also gave her the other names for pigs, horses, male chickens, etc.,
At the same time I’m not sure if I would have thought about teaching it except some of the kids books have the names in them.
Hmmm… how about watching the submarine races?
