I like the children to go out into the world and have fun but I miss them terribly when they are gone. I think people have the mistaken idea that things are somehow “easier” when we don’t have as many children in the house. Sarah’s absence this weekend leaves a gaping hole and not just because she is such a helpful child. I’m looking forward to her return tomorrow night.
