The peanut song

Tonight was a “drive the children to and from activities” night. I plugged my iPod into the car radio and tried to keep everyone entertained during transit. Since Amy had played with the iPod earlier today and changed the settings so that my backlight wouldn’t work, I did a lot of guessing as I clicked through the songs. After listening to “White and Nerdy” ten thousand times, I played Monty Python and the minions were happy until a song about a specific male body part accidentally started. The car was completely silent as I fumbled to change the song. With the click forward in musical selections came the sound of Tommy snickering and Sarah declaring “Thank you.” Doug and I always tell the children that it is our job to embarrass them. Tonight we did our job.
