  1. I have a big problem. I have a 6yr old and a 5yr old bth males that I have had since they were kittens. 5 months ago I adopted my brother’s 2yr old male. For starters my 5yr old doesn’t like the new cat, everytime the new cat comes around him he starts hissing and they break out in a fight. On the days that I am home there most be about 10 to 15 fights. I know that you have to give them time, but I don’t know how much more I can take. The second thing is, is there a such thing as bypolar for cats. He is really good with me, he’s my little buddy, but he can be sweet one second and upset and nasty the next. I know the poor guy feels like he isn’t wanted, when I went to take him to the vet I needed some paperwork. Well I knew that my brother had got him from a friend, so I called the friend to get the stuff I needed and she told me that she isn’t his first owner, he had one owner before her. So of course at 2yrs old I am his 3rd owner. I feel for him and I make sure that I keep in mind what he has been thru. When he gets in his little moods you can see it in his eyes, and when it’s over that look is gone. My brother had him for a year, so he sofar has been with him the longest, and I can see my brother’s attitude in him, lol. My brother also is bypolar and I’ve seen the same look in his eyes as I do the cat, just of course a bit different. I sure hope you can give me some answers. Thank you so much.
