While making the evening taxi runs, I noticed that despite the pouring rain, the automatic sprinklers at the car lots were all on full blast. Wouldn’t a rain sensor that over-rides the timer be more environmentally and economically intelligent?

Call me crazy, but they might even have an employee who could turn the sprinklers off….
