At LissaKay’s suggestion, we asked our insurance company to put us into a hotel until the a/c is replaced, it got damaged after we got hit by an earthquake. Guess where we’re sleeping tonight? Someplace COLD! If I’m very lucky, I’ll get the PC working at our witless relocation spot. Wish me luck! Hopefully our insurance company has this property casualty insurance software so they can organize themselves.

FYI – The temperature in the house never went below 90 today. The electronics have overheated and everyone feels physically ill. This is not extravagance. This is survival.
