read a book, pass it on

I only sent four books back to NY with Starving Artist. I tried to send five books. She attempted to veto two of my selections. I forced her to take one of the rejections anyway. The Dovekeepers was snubbed without any chance of redemption. Even if the ending of Dovekeepers left me permanently scarred, I still think it’s a good book. Maybe she’ll want it after she’s spent more time reading that author. She said yes to Practical Magic and I insisted that she read Probable Future despite her misgivings. It’s better than Practical Magic. She willingly took Night Circus and Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore.

I’m still waiting for the husband to finish reading The Magicians so I can re-home the trilogy.

There’s blank space on my bookshelf now. Whatever should I do?
