Evan didn’t cry when you took his blood sample because you “hurt his feelings”. He cried because you hurt his chubby little toe with real, honest to goodness physical pain. If you can’t be honest with your patients, at least be honest with yourself. B**ch.

Oh those people make my blood boil. I actually had a nurse get mad at me because I told my child, “Yes, it will hurt. But it’s quick and you’ll be ok. You’re a brave girl.” Imagine…telling the child the truth! Pffftt..
